Imagining North Adams

is a festival of images, ideas, and initiatives with a placemaking mission. Through artwork and participatory events, the festival invites participants to consider ways to turn our dreams for the city into concrete action.

Virtual Visit
(Pain Points and Assets)

On these pages, I've begun a collection of briefings about portions of the city that have come under discussion in connection with this festival. These are locations that folks would like to remedy (pain points) or preserve (assets).

If you have a corner of the city that you would like to see featured here, please contact me so I can guide you in writing a briefing to be included on the website. Briefings should focus on the connection between the physical environment of North Adams and the well being of the people who work, live and play here. — Jennifer Krouse
